Spanish club Cadiz CF, who were relegated to the second division after a goalless draw against Las Palmas on Sunday, got rough treatment from their supporters, especially their midfielder Alex Fernandez, who got involved in a verbal spat with the fans following the match.

Manuel Vizcaino Fernandez’s side, who are trailing at the 18th position in the points table, have only managed to accumulate 33 points after 37 games, which includes only six wins and 15 defeats. The remaining 16 games ended in a draw. On Sunday too, they couldn’t convert a goal despite hitting three shots on target. In the process, their centre-back Victor Chust got the red card during a brutal save.

After the game, the Yellow team fans didn’t look justified with the performance and thus displayed their dissatisfaction with the team and players. Their defender Fernandez faced the maximum blunt as the supporters indulged in a harsh spade with the 31-year-old and he was subjected to severe criticisms. A group of people also subjected him to the tag of ‘pest.’

In the other fixtures of the league, Villarreal stroked a memorable comeback against the league toppers Real Madrid as they managed to draw the thrilling game by 4-4. The Norwegian forward Alexander Sorloth starred in the game with the 28-year-old netting four goals in 17 minutes including a hat-trick in 13 minutes.
