LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony have been drafted in the NBA in 2003 and featured in three USA Olympics basketball teams in 2004, 2008 and 2012. Recently, former Los Angeles Lakers forward has revealed an incident when his teammate LeBron James' heroics saved him from drowning in the ocean.

The incident took place during the NBA stars including Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Chris Paul's Bahamas trip in 2015.

In a video posted on Twitter, Carmelo Anthony and Dwayne Wade recollected the memories from their Bahamas trip when the four-time NBA champion dived into the ocean to save Melo's life. Carmelo said, "I look up, the current is taking me in the middle of the ocean, like opposite from the boat. Then, I see. I look up at the boat, and I see Bron jumped off the boat like he's MacGyver."

The 10-time NBA All-Star added, "He was bringing me back with one arm. He's swimming with the other arm and carrying me in one arm... Yo Bron, I appreciate that, you saved my life that day. Them little flippers wasn't working for me."

Carmelo Anthony last played with his close friend LeBron James at the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA and the 2013 NBA scoring champion is still a free agent with the regular season starting from October 19. On the other hand, LeBron James will feature for Lakers in his 20th season in the NBA as the team roster also includes Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Patrick Beverley among others.

Apart from the NBA, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade co-produced a Netflix documentary on the 2008 Olympics winning USA Basketball team that featured Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul among other stars and it was named, The Redeem Team. The NBA stars talked about Kobe Bryant's mamba  mentality against  Spain in the Olympics.
