After a day of rumours and speculations surrounding Cheteshwar Pujara’s potential arrival to Chennai Super Kings for the IPL 2024, following his cryptic post on X, he ended the chatter with a new post earlier today. The Indian cricketer went on to reveal his arrival to the Zomato brand, with an ad appearance alongside the Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Samantha Prabhu.
Over 24 hours ago, Cheteshwar Pujara took to his official X account to state that he is looking forward to joining “#SupperKings,” kick-starting the chatter on the social media platform about his post. In the comments section, the fans asked him about what is “SupperKings,” and whether his arrival to Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2024 is imminent.
Although, on Monday, April 15, Cheteshwar Pujara revealed that he had joined Zomato, posting an ad video on X, wherein he was promoting the food delivery brand with Ranveer Singh and Samantha Prabhu. The clip started with Cheteshwar Pujara’s profile on full display for the “Indian Platter League Auction 2027,” following which Ranveer Singh and Samantha Prabhu told him about bringing him over to their team.
But when the clip transitioned to a few hours later, Cheteshwar Pujara was seen watching a cricket match before Ranveer Singh and Samantha Prabhu ordered a Masala Cheese Toast for him on Zomato in a hilarious twist. The Indian cricketer captioned the post, “Don't mind belly capitals or bun-risers as well! @zomato #collab”.
Moreover, Cheteshwar Pujara has been a part of the IPL during his career, winning it in 2021 with Chennai Super Kings, without playing a single match for the franchise during that season.
