International League T20 (ILT20) kicked off in grand fashion on January 13. The opening game was played between Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and Dubai Capitals. While the Sunil Narine-led side suffered a loss in the first game, they are looking down the barrel in their second match as well as the side got restricted to 114/9 in 20 overs against Gulf Giants.
Despite having the likes of Colin Ingram and Andre Russell, the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders failed to put up a big total on board. Andra Russell did give a glimpse of his power when he hit Chris Jorden for two consecutive boundaries, but the English bowler had the last laugh as he castled the all-rounder's stumps.
Russell was in sheer anger after the dismissal and cursed himself loudly to show his frustration.

Chris Jordan had a good outing on the field as the all-rounder picked 3 wickets while giving away 28 runs in his 4 overs. Sanchit Sharma also picked up a 3-wicket haul for Gulf Giants as the side restricted Abu Dhabi Knight Riders to a below-par total.
