However, the American was involved in a funny interaction with the announcer after her  3-6, 6-3, 6-0 win at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. After winning the game, Gauff hilariously announced her session partner  Novak Djokovic ahead of his match against compatriot Laslo Djere in an all-Serbian clash.

The 19-year-old Gauff pulled off a comeback against her Belgian opponent after going down in the first set. In her next fixture, which is a Round of 16 clash, the tennis prodigy will face a tough competition as she will face the former World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki.

After claiming the hard-fought victory, Gauff had a fun session with  Pam Shriver on the court. During the interaction, Shriver asked Gauff about her session partner coming up next at the center court. Coco Gauff rousingly announced Novak Djokovic's match at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
