The international break is over and Cristiano Ronaldo-led Al-Nassr registered a dominant 5-1 victory against Al-Tai in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday night. The match played at the Al-Awwal stadium saw the five-time Ballon d'Or winner scoring his 64th career hat-trick and moving four goals clear from the second-placed Aleksandar Mitrovic of Al-Hilal.

The Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo took just 23 minutes to score a hat-trick against Al-Tai and extended Al-Nassr's lead to four goals after ending the first half 2-1 with the goals from Otavio and Abdulrahman Ghareeb. Cristiano found the back of the net in the 64th, 67th, and 87th minutes.

The 39-year-old Ronaldo scored his first goal just above the one-hour mark with a stunning first touch inside the box from Sadio Mane's low cross. His second goal came just after three minutes as he tapped in a deflected ball near the post while he scored a record 148th career header to complete his hat-trick in the 87th minute.

With the win against Al-Tai, Al-Nassr extended the gap from the third-placed Al-Ahli to 11 points, however, they are placed second and 12 points behind the league toppers, Al-Hilal. Cristiano Ronaldo is currently leading the Saudi Pro League 2023-24 goal-scoring list with 26 goals followed by Mitrovic with 22 goals. Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate Anderson Talisca is in the third spot with 16 goals.
