Football legend and Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo intervened while two Al Raed players were fighting over a penalty shot. Ronaldo’s side took on Al Raeed in the ongoing Saudi Pro League on September 17, Sunday. The Portuguese international guided his side to yet another victory as they took down their rivals 3-1.

Ronaldo scored the final goal of the game, while their side’s other two goals came from Sadio Mane and Talisca. Their opponents’ only goal came from Mohamed Fouzair who was fouled in Al-Nassr's goal area, which led to a penalty. This led to displeasure among the Al Raed players and the frustration among them led to such a point that they started arguing over who would take the penalty kick.

Mohamed Fouzair who was the victim of the penalty was convinced to take the penalty whereas one of his teammates was persuading him to take the shot instead. Before things could heat up more, their rival captain, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to intervene and resolve the matter.

Notably, the 38-year-old extended their score tally to three by adding a 78th-minute goal to the total. Ronaldo is currently the leading goal scorer in the Saudi Pro League. Al Nassr will take on Al Ahli in another action-packed game on September 21, Thursday.
