Manchester United claimed the fifth spot in the Premier League 2022-23 standings with a 1-0 win against West Ham United on Sunday. Before the match against West Ham, Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo greeted a couple of panelists and ruthlessly snubbed former Man United captain Gary Neville over his remarks against the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Ronaldo is back into the first-team for Man United during their games in the Europa League and the Premier League after being left out of the squad following his exit during the game against Tottenham.

During the Sunday's game, Cristiano Ronaldo entered the field for pre-match warmup after greeting his former teammate  Louis Saha and football pundit Jamie Redknapp. The 37-year-old Portuguese intentionally ignored Gary Neville as he greeted other pundits on the Sky Sports panel.

After Cristiano Ronaldo refused to come on as a substitute and headed to the tunnel before the game against Tottenham was finished, the 47-year-old pundit criticized the three-time Premier League champion and said that Man United are 'better without him' and the Red Devils should 'end their relationship' with him.

Neville's remarks led Cristiano to snub the former United defender and the English international said, " We're off the Christmas card list aren't we?" While Liverpool and England legend  James Carragher, who was also snubbed by Cristiano Ronaldo earlier during a pre-match presentation, tagged Neville and tweeted, "Welcome to the, blanked by Ronaldo club."
