Former Real Madrid great Cristiano Ronaldo was left rather amused after he saw his lookalike amongst all the fans in the stand. The incident took place during his Saudi Pro League side, Al Nassr’s recent match against Al-Ettifaq. Ronaldo was performing some warm-up drills as a pre-match routine when he noticed the person in the stands.
Reckoned as one of the greats of the game, Ronaldo also immediately walked over to his Al Nassr team-mate Marcelo Brozovic, who was also part of the warm-up drills. He pointed over to his lookalike in the stands and both of them had a hearty laugh and banter about the same, video of which has been making rounds on social media.

The result of that match however wasn’t the most ideal one as Al Nassr ended up losing 3-2 to Al-Ettifaq. They ended up conceding an own goal in the 82nd minute to level the score and then former Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum scored the winner at the 89th minute. But that wasn’t the end of all worries for Al Nassr as their latest signing Jhon Duran was sent off in the 92nd minute after a rather controversial decision.
Jhon Duran was seen giving a light smack to an Al-Ettifaq player’s head following an argument and as the Al-Ettifaq player took to the ground, the referee reached for his pocket and produced a red card for Duran. Cristiano Ronaldo was also rather surprised and taken aback by this decision and was seen protesting to the referees. He even kicked the ball of the half-line in utter frustration over this decision.
Ronaldo who signed for Al Nassr in January 2023 has had a great two years at the Riyad-based club. He has since scored an impressive 88 goals in 98 matches, taking his overall goal tally to a whopping 924 goals. He remains the only professional footballer to cross the 900-goal mark.
