David Warner has turned it around in IPL 2022. While he was in poor form in IPL 2021 and was even stripped of his captaincy and wasn't even included in the Playing XI, the southpaw has regained the lost form and showed that class is permanent.
The opening batter smashed his third successive half-century in the IPL in the match against Punjab Kings on Wednesday and remained unbeaten on 60 off 30 balls. Although Delhi had completed a dominant win over Punjab, it was Warner's Pushpa celebration that grabbed the eyeballs in the after match scenes from the Brabourne Stadium.
The celebration has been made viral after the Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu movie "Pushpa: The Rise."

"The bowlers did a fantastic job to make ours easier. We had to go big in the powerplay. Credit to our bowlers for getting them out," the Australian said after finishing off the match.
"Was grateful to have gotten to play the game. Form is temporary and class is permanent, I was just trying to be positive and am happy to have played with Shaw," he added.
"The kids just want to know why I cannot get a hundred, and why I cannot do it like Jos, who is hitting sixes as well," he further said answering commentator Simon Doull's question on what his kids ask when he goes back to the hotel.
The victory is expected to ease off any tensions or apprehension in the Delhi camp who were hit by COVID-19 prior to this game. The venue for their next match has also been changed to the Wankhede Stadium due to the Coronavirus infections in the team. They are set to meet Rajasthan Royals for their next game in the tournament.
