Delhi Capitals captain David Warner engaged in hilarious banter with Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja during the DC vs CSK IPL 2023 fixture. After posting a massive total of 223, Chennai continued their dominant form as they managed to dismiss Prithvi Shaw at a score of 5.

But holding one end,  David Warner was finding some form as he hit some great shots around the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Taking on Deepak Chahar, Warner smashed ten runs in the first balls in the fifth over. Then as he mistimed a drive towards Ajinkya Rahane.

Teasing the Mumbai batter, the Aussie stands out of his crease but as the throw came, Warner rushed back in. With the ball going to Ravindra Jadeja threatened to throw, reacting to which Warner swung his bat like the Indian all-rounder's sword celebration.

But this joy was short-lived for Warner as other batters with him couldn't support him as the Capitals lost the game by 77 runs. Reacting to this loss and the disappointing season, Warner said,  "Credit to CSK, they out batted us today. We did see that it was a good pitch, boundaries early in the over and we could have put more pressure on their bowlers. There were some positives, we didn't go too badly with the ball, with the bat we didn't get partnerships, lost wickets in clumps, we lost some games badly and that hurt, we'll have to look at these things and come back strongly next season."
