South Africa’s batting sensation Dewald Brevis is known for his big hits. The 19-year-old has shown on many occasions why he is called Baby AB. The batter has immense control over his shots and his ability to hit through the line is probably what separates him from the rest. Brevis once again showed his batting prowess as he hit five sixes in a row in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League.

The 19-year-old hit five consecutive sixes against two different bowlers in his team’s game against Trinbago Knight Riders. Coming into bat at No.6 for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Brevis dispatched Akeal Hosein for a maximum on the very second delivery he faced. Brevis slog-swept Hosein over deep midwicket stands for his first six. He did not stop there.

On the next two deliveries, Brevis hit another two sixes. On the fifth delivery of the 19th over, the batter stepped outside and hit Hosein straight down the ground. For the next delivery, Brevis anticipated that the bowler will drag the length back and hence stayed back in the crease and launched the ball deep into the long-off stands.

Brevis continued his onslaught against Dupavilllion as he hit two consecutive sixes on the last two balls of the 20th over. While he hit Hosein to the long side, Brevis exhibited his range and hit the pacer to the off-side.
