On Saturday, November 30, Bollywood actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh performed in Kolkata as part of the Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024, which had begun just over a month ago. The 40-year-old also paid a tribute to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) during his performance, winning the hearts and minds of fans in the City of Joy after saying their trademark ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re’ tagline, following which he spoke about how beautiful it really is, to which Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of the franchise, responded on X.
Diljit Dosanjh was all praises of Shah Rukh Khan while talking about KKR during his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024 appearance in Kolkata, remarking that he is a big fan of the fellow Bollywood actor. He also explained the message of the Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re, stating that when someone works hard and fights alongside their team, gives their best effort, then the victory has no other option but to come to them.

In his remark for Kolkata Knight Riders, Diljit Dosanjh said, “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re. Ye bohot achi tagline hain. Ye Kolkata Knight Riders ki hain? Badi pyari tagline lagi or specially yeh Shah Rukh Khan Sir ki team hai toh waise achi hi lagni thi hume kyuki hum sir ke fan hain (Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re. This is a very good slogan. This slogan is from the Kolkata Knight Riders right? It’s such a lovely slogan, and especially since it’s Shah Rukh Khan Sir’s team, it’s bound to be great as I am a huge fan of him.)”
Diljit Dosanjh's heartfelt gesture for KKR also reached Shah Rukh Khan, who responded to the video on his official X account, and wrote, “Thank you for bringing joy to the City of Joy, @diljitdosanjh Paaji. I’m sure all at @KKRiders and their fans love the Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo reference. All the best and have a great tour.... Love u”.
