Chennai Super Kings are hosting Lucknow Super Giants at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in match number 6 of IPL 2023. While MS Dhoni lost his second consecutive toss after earlier losing against Hardik Pandya in the tournament opener at Narendra Modi Stadium.

After the players took the field to start this exciting clash, it saw a slight delay. The match saw a dog invading the field of play just minutes prior to the start of the match. The umpire was seen running before the dog as the groundstaff also joined in to remove the invader.
