Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is well renowned for his kindness and charity, but recently he took it to another level when he shocked Themba Gorimbo, a UFC fighter from Zimbabwe, after reading his motivational tale of defying hardships.

Gorimbo, who was battling poverty and overcame numerous obstacles, recently defeated Takashi Sato by a unanimous decision to register his maiden UFC win. When he won the fight, his bank account had just $7 and was forced to sleep on a couch in the training facility.
The Rock came to Miami to see Gorimbo because his tale inspired and impacted him a lot. On his Instagram page, he shared a video of surprising Gorimbo and thanking him bravery and tenacity. It's also been said that The Rock gave Gorimbo a brand-new home in Miami as a sign of respect for his hard work.

In the video, Gorimbo can be seen in an interview, when The Rock slowly approaches him from behind. As soon as Gorimbo see’s The Rock, he rushes towards him and hugs him warmly. The happiness in Gorimbo’s eyes can be seen clearly as he was visibly emotional after getting a surprise visit from his idol. The Rock said that he felt the mana and emotion in every hug and that it was a very good and very special day for him.
Overwhelmed after meeting Dwayne Johnson, Gorimbo posted a heartfelt message on Instagram too, in which he expressed his gratitude towards The Rock. He wrote, “Firstly I thank God for everything he does for me in my life. Words can’t describe the feeling and the motivation I now have after having this meeting. Big man with a big heart and he has changed my life completely today and I shall forever be grateful. I didn’t know how to thank him because words aren’t enough.”
