The match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) turned out to be an absolute thriller with batters of both teams putting on a show at the DY Patil Stadium. After conceding 210 runs with the ball, Kolkata Knight Riders made a comeback by amassing runs at some unbelievable pace.

Lucknow also did not give up and kept striking at crucial junctures. This made the game swing like a pendulum in both teams’ favour. While LSG bowlers kept their team in the hunt, Rinku Singh put on a show to keep his team alive in the nail-biting contest.

The southpaw was looking to walk away with the game as he smashed 18 runs on the first four balls of the 20th over. It seemed LSG will lose the match but Evin Lewis did the unbelievable to help his team get rid of Rinku. The fielder ran almost 20 yards to his left and grabbed a one-handed stunner to send Rinku back to the pavilion.

Notably, this tuned out to be a match-winning effort from Evin Lewis as Lucknow successfully defended their 210 runs and won the game by 2 runs. With this win, they also became the second team to enter the playoffs.
