Formula One racer Charles Leclerc was caught on camera chasing down his wristwatch thieves in his Ferrari. The Italy Police officials have released a statement regarding the arrest of four thieves, including three men and one woman, who were taken into custody on April 18, 2022, in Viareggio, Tuscany. Reportedly, two unidentified suspects had approached the racer to click a picture and escaped on a scooter stealing his exclusive Richard Mille watch worth £265,000.

Police had arrested both the suspects along with other two in an SUV, who helped in the facilitation of their escape. The authorities have released a video, where the F1 racer can be seen chasing the thieves in his Ferrari 488 Pista sportscar.

Leclerc had a tough beginning of the season with a score of just six points. Not only this, over the weekend, he crashed in the opening lap of the Australian Grand Prix. According to the official website of Formula One, Leclerc said, “Just extremely frustrating. I mean, it’s the worst start to the season ever, really. … It is really frustrating.”

Beginning 2023 on a slow pace, the F1 racer managed to complete only one race. He came up with a DNF result during the Bahrain curtain-raiser event and bagged seventh position in the second race of the season in Saudi Arabia.
