Going back to Joburg Super Kings' incredible bowling performance, Du Plessis's side bundled out the Sunrisers at the score of 127 in 18.4 overs. The star performer of this inning was veteran Proteas spinner Aaron Phangiso. The Birthday boy registered the best figures in the SA20 as he picked four wickets while giving away just 20 runs.
Phangiso claimed opener Adam Rossington as his first victim and then dismissed Tristan Stubbs with another brilliant delivery. The 39-year-old then sent in-form all-rounder Marco Jansen. For his fourth scalp, Phangiso took JJ Smits' wicket.
Assisting the Left-arm orthodox bowler, wicketkeeper Donavon Ferreira was involved in all four dismissals. Ferreira had a field day as he also took the catch of Eastern Cape captain Aiden Markram off Romario Shepard's bowling. Along with Aaron Phangiso, Gerald Coetzee also completed his four-wicket haul and played a major part in cleaning up the Sunrisers' lower batting order.
