The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi, has made his big arrival in the United States of America to take part in the upcoming season of Major League Soccer (MLS). The 36-year-old is expected to be unveiled as the new player for Inter Miami on July 16, Sunday, shortly before he plays his first match for the club.
On July 11, Tuesday, the Argentine World Cup-winning captain touched down in America after flying into the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in Miami. He was accompanied by his family, including his wife Antonella and their three sons, namely Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro.
Several hours before Lionel Messi arrived in the country, the fans had congregated outside the airport to catch a glimpse of their hero. Shortly after La Pulga made it to Inter Miami to make his transfer official, a fan managed to catch him walking towards a car with the family. As the Argentine obliged for a selfie with him, he landed a kiss on the cheek of the great footballer.

The viral clip on social media, where the fan said to the former Paris Saint-Germain star, “LEO, TE AMO HERMANO. GRACIAS. GRACIAS. GRACIAS POR TANTO (LEO, I LOVE YOU BROTHER. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU SO MUCH)”.

Messi and Busquets to get formally presented together as Inter Miami players
Inter Miami have announced a “major unveiling event” on July 16, Sunday, which indicated toward official presentation of Lionel Messi and his former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets to the public. After the official formalities, Messi and Busquets are going to train under the new coach of the club Gerardo “Tata” Martino, who has worked with them previously at Barca.
