As England were taking on Sri Lanka in the first Test of a three-match series at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Stretford, one of the fans in the stands took an outrageous catch with just one hand when Mark Wood smashed a six against Asitha Fernando in the first innings. The crowd present at the stadium were left stunned when the fan took a stunner with four pint glasses in his other hand.

As shown in the video, England’s assistant coach Paul Collingwood was also left stunned with the catch before imitating it to the laughter of the experts in the commentary box. The guy who took the catch later acknowledged the crowd at Old Trafford with a salute as well.

The video was shared by England Cricket on the social media platform X, where they heaped praise on the spectator for a magnificent catch.
