However, as the ball was about to land in the stands, a fan grabbed it with just hands to complete a magnificent crowd catch. After that catch was taken, the fan got immense response from the crowd and also the left the commentators stunned with his brilliant one-hander.

Talking about the match, the runners of the previous edition, Durban Super Giants defeated Pretoria Capitals by just two runs in a high-scoring thriller at Kingsmead to kickstart their SA20 2025 campaign with a win. Batting first, Kane Williamson scored an unbeaten 60*(40) runs hitting three fours and two sixes as Super Giants posted 209/4 in their 20 overs. Apart from that, Bryce Parsons also scored 47(28) runs while Wiaan Mulder gave finishing touches with 45*(19) runs.
In reply, Pretoria Capitals also had a great start as Will Jacks scored 64(35) runs with three fours and five sixes, while Rahmanullah Gurbaz smashed 89(43) runs hitting three fours and seven sixes. However, none of the other batters could play a big knock as the Capitals were restricted to 207/6 with just two runs short of Super Giants' total. Despite losing the game, Gurbaz was awarded player of the match for his heroics with the bat.
