Feyenoord have had an amazing 2022-23 season in the Eredivisie as they won the title and lead second-place PSV Eindhoven by ten points. They also reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League 2022-23, where they lost against Serie A giants Roma. After winning the top-tier Dutch football league, the Feyenoord team management gave away the talented group of players a special gift.
Feyenoord gifted all their championship-winning players a personalised ring for winning the Eredivisie title and in the process it became the first club in the Netherlands to present a special gift to their players. This is a normal ritual in the USA as title-winning teams in the MLB and the NBA are commonly given rings to express their victories. Feyenoord have partnered up with Gaasan to make exclusive personalised rings for their players.
Feyenoord took to its official Twitter handle and shared a video and pictures of the players wearing the personalised rings and captioned, "𝑴𝑨𝑲𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑴𝑬𝑴💍𝑹𝑰𝑬𝑺. A personalized Champions Ring for all our players."

The 'Champions Ring' as they call it features a large Feyenoord logo made of diamonds. The initials of the players, their back numbers, the skyline of Rotterdam, the year of the national title, and a derivative of the championship scale. A copy of this ring will be kept in the collection at the Feyenoord Museum. The club mentions that this will be a recurring ritual for their future achievements.
The club celebrated its 16th title in the Dutch first tier and are one of the few Dutch clubs who have won the Champions League. Feyenoord will play their last league game against Vitesse on Sunday, May 28 in front of their home crowd at the De Kuip Stadium.
