India are taking on England in the summit clash of the ongoing Women’s U19 T20 World Cup Final. India captain Shafali Verma won the toss and decided to have a bowl first and her bowlers backed the decision perfectly by dismissing England’s top three batters within the first four overs. While Titas Sadhu provided the first breakthrough for India as the pacer dismissed Liberty Heap, Archana Devi gave a double blow in her second over.

Archana first got rid of Niamh Holland who was trying to play a cheeky shot. The left-arm orthodox then dismissed the England captain Grace Scrivens to land a huge blow. Archana had Gongadi Trisha to thank who took an absolute blinder in the outfield to get rid of the opposition captain.

As Archana bowled a tossed-up delivery on the last ball of the 4th over, Scrivens came charging down the track and played a lofted drive. However, with not much pace behind the ball, the England captain could not time her shot and the ball went in the air. Trisha did an excellent job as she covered a lot of ground quickly and dived forward to pluck the ball inches close to the ground.
