Yet another brilliant batting from Suryakumar Yadav (61 off 25) and KL Rahul (51 off 35) put India in a commanding position as India posted 186/5, batting first. While batting first, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma (15 off 13) and Virat Kohli (26 off 25) failed to impress with the bat, but opener KL Rahul, and middle-order Suryakumar Yadav played fine knocks to ensure competitive runs on board.
Meanwhile, prolific allrounder Hardik Pandya who contributed with 18-runs had an incident that left cricket fans too confused. It was the first delivery of the 20th over in 1st innings when 24-year-old left-arm pacer Richard Ngarava bowled a high full toss which was given no-ball by on-field umpire as the delivery went above the waist. While Hardik Pandya was all set to make most of the free hit but missed to connect the yorker length outside off.
Interestingly, Pandya's bat hit the stumps even before he went on to play the delivery. While many cricket, fans express their confusion over why Hardik was not given out following the hit-stump, as per rule batter can only be dismissed if gets run out, hit the ball twice or obstructing the field.

However, Hardik got out on the very next delivery as he was caught by Blessing Muzarbani at short third man. Suryakumar then made the best use of the final over as he smashed two sixes and one boundary in the last four balls powering India to 186.
