English forward Harry Kane created history as he became the highest goal-scorer for his club Tottenham Hotspur after his 15th-minute goal against Manchester City. This was Kane's 267th goal for the club to surpass the goalscoring feat of Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves.

This goal also was Kane's 200th goal in the Premier League. He is now 60 goals behind Newcastle legend Alan Shearer's record of 260 goals and eight goals behind second-placed Wayne Rooney who has 208. The English captain was in the box as he finished off a failed attempt by  Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, who made a run toward the goal.

Harry Kane scored his first goal for the Spurs in 2011 in the Europa League against Shamrock Rovers. Then after some loan spells, Kane then cemented his spot in the Tottenham first-team in 2014. He then scored his first Premier League goal in a 5-1 victory over Sunderland.

From the start of the 2014-15 season to the end of last season, Kane has scored 23 Premier League goals on average. During this time, Kane won the Premier League Golden Boot award three times in 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2020-21.

He also took home the Playmaker of the Season award given to the player with the most assists in 2020-21. Kane's best goalscoring season was in 2017-18 when he scored 41 goals in all competitions.
