Harry Kane, the England striker, won the first major trophy of his illustrious career when Bayern Munich were confirmed the new winners of the Bundesliga on Sunday, May 4. After Bayer Leverkusen drew their Bundesliga match against SC Freiburg 2-2 away from home, Bayern Munich clinched their 33rd league title in Germany, and it led to the 31-year-old taking to his official X account to celebrate the moment in style with his teammates, singing and enjoying a cold one.

Notably, Bayern Munich could have sealed the Bundesliga title on Saturday, May 3, at RB Leipzig, but a late goal from Yussuf Poulsen meant that the match ended in a 3-3 draw, stretching the wait for the title just a little longer. Although, just a day later, when SC Freiburg were able to hold off the defending champions Bayer Leverkusen, the difference between Bayern Munich and the latter on the top of the standings became eight points with two matches to go, enough for the title triumph.

Following the draw for Leverkusen at Freiburg, Harry Kane posted a video of himself celebrating the Bundesliga win with his Bayern Munich teammates while drinking some beer and doing a rendition of Queen’s We Are The Champions song. With that, the English striker went on to end the notion about finishing his professional career without ever winning a major trophy with club or country.
