Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali has been on a tear while playing for Lancashire in County Cricket. While playing against Gloucestershire at the Emirates Old Trafford, Ali bagged six wickets in the first innings while giving just 47 runs in his 17 overs. Gloucestershire only managed to score 257 in their first innings.
But the Lancashire continued dominating as they put up a massive score of 556 runs in their first innings with J.J. Bohannon’s 231. With a lead of 299, Lancashire's bowling followed their strong batting performance with another powerful display as they picked early wickets. Ali continued his great form in the second innings as he dismissed James Bracey with an insane delivery.
The 27-year-old sent out a scorching yorker that bulldozed through Bracey’s defence and crashed into the middle stump. The ball was delivered at such a pace that it broke the middle stump into two parts. Later Hasan Ali’s Pakistan teammate Shadab Khan praised his bowling by sharing the video of his stump-destroying yorker on Twitter. Khan captioned the video, “Love to see it. @RealHa55an ???”

“The way we bowled in the first innings was excellent,” Vilas
Lancashire captain and top-order batter Dane Vilas talked about his team’s performance and praised the bowling attack for a scintillating performance. He said, “It’s a really good wicket but there’s a bit more rough out there for the spinners. They’ve got some good players who can handle the pressure situations so it’s going to be a tough task. But saying that, the way we bowled in the first innings was excellent.”
