Indian skipper Virat Kohli is one happy man after he surpassed MS Dhoni's record of registering most wins as captain at home on Thursday. The result implies that India are very much alive in the race to the ICC World Test Championship final, while England are eliminated. A win for India or draw in the final Test will mean India vs New Zealand in the finals later in the year. But if England manage a win, it will be Australia who will feature in the final.

Kohli crashes Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel interview

Post a memorable win, which has helped India take a series lead of 2-1, the Indian cricketers were seen sharing a few light moments on the field. While Hardik Pandya was seen talking to star of the Ahmedabad Test, Axar Patel, Virat Kohli came in running to crash their interaction as he came and said " Hey Baapu, taari bowling kamal che," trying to imitate a Gujarati accent.

Hardik later revealed that it is the bit of Gujarati that Virat has picked up which he is used to praise Axar. Notably, Axar Patel is nicknamed Bapu as he belongs to the home state of Mahatma Gandhi.

11 wickets in the match for Axar

Axar continued his good form and completed his third fifer in second Test as India wrapped up the Test in 2 days. While he had picked 6 wickets in the first innings, his five in the second helped India bowl the visitors out for 81. Axar had even picked a five-wicket haul in the second innings of the second Test match.

Looking at his performance, the left-arm spinner said that he would want the pitch to behave similarly for the final Test so that he could continue to contribute to Indian wins.
