Indian women's cricket team suffered a massive nine-wicket defeat in their first T20I match against England on Saturday in  Chester-le-Street. However, Indian fans supported their women's cricket team throughout the match by chanting a religious slogan from the stands.

England women's team chased the 133-run target set by the Indian women's team in just 13 overs with nine wickets remaining and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. England leg-spinner Sarah Glenn picked four wickets while opener Sophia Dunkley scored an unbeaten 61 runs.

A video has gone viral from the 1st T20I between Indian and England where the Indian fans are chanting slogans to celebrate the Indian festival of Ganeshotsav. The fans used the slogans to cheer the Indian women's team during their humiliating loss against England.

Talking about the match, Deepti Sharma played an unbeaten knock of 29 runs which was the highest score for the Indian side while their bowlers leaked a lot of runs which helped England women's team to chase the target in just 13 overs.

The Women in Blue will face England in the second T20I on September 13 in Derby while the teams will lock horns for the final T20I on September 15 in Bristol before they face each other in the three-match ODI series, starting from September 18 to 24.
