Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently in a tough situation in the ongoing IPL 2025 clash against Mumbai Indians as they already lost four wickets inside the powerplay. Along with this, a weird incident took place during SRH’s innings where Ishan Kishan was caught behind by the on-field umpire despite no appeal from MI players. Notably, Deepak Chahar played an onside wide delivery to which Kishan tried to connect with the bat. Wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton collected the ball safely but the bowler didn’t make any appeal for the wicket.
However, despite this, the umpire raised his finger to confirm the wicket after which MI skipper Hardik Pandya and Deepak Chahar also joined the appeal. Ishan Kishan started walking back to the pavilion without taking any review. However, it was later found out that there was no contact between bat and ball but it was too late as the SRH batter was already given out on the scorecard and also lost his chance to take a DRS.

Talking about the match, SRH had a disastrous start while batting first as they first lost the wicket of Travis Head at the score of two runs in the second over. In the very next over, Ishan Kishan was given a controversial out. After that, Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy also couldn't stay at the crease for long as SRH were reduced to 13/4 after 4.1 overs. After a few overs, SRH lost fifth wicket at the score of 35 runs.
Currently, Heinrich Klaasen is at the crease with Abhinav Manohar as both the batters are taking the innings further.
