Jade Cargill made an emphatic statement on her first appearance as an official member of the WWE SmackDown, siding with Naomi and Bianca Belair, to take out Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai, the three members of the Damage CTRL. The final stretch on the “Road to WrestleMania” saw WWE SmackDown emanating from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville.
In the main event of WWE SmackDown, Bianca Belair took on Dakota Kai of the Damage CTRL in a one-on-one match. Although Belair had a distinct advantage of size and agility, Kai did put up a great fight against her, with a handful of braid at one point.
The closing stages of the match saw Bianca Belair perform a deadlift superplex on Dakota Kai before her signature finishing move Kiss of Death (KOD) was more than enough to score the pinfall win. Moments later, Asuka and Kairi Sane, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, hit the ring at the Mohegan Sun Arena, to put a beating on Bianca Belair.
Naomi arrived on the scene to make the save, but the numbers game was still in favor of Damage CTRL. But, it wasn’t the case for much longer with Jade Cargill coming on stage to make her WWE SmackDown debut, taking out Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai in the ring, all by herself.
Following this massive altercation, WWE announced a six-woman tag team match, wherein Jade Cargill will team up with Naomi and Bianca Belair to compete against Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai of the Damage CTRL at WrestleMania XL.
