The 32-year-old NBA veteran John Wall made his first start for Los Angeles Clippers on Monday in their preseason game against Minnesota Timberwolves at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. John Wall scored the most points for Clippers and showed his vintage moves in their 117-119 home loss against Timberwolves.

After leading the game by nine points in the first half, Clippers failed to continue their lead in the following two quarters and witnessed a two-point loss against the Polars. The Clippers faced their first defeat while the Timberwolves continued their winning streak in three preseason games.

Five-time NBA All-Star John Wall scored 20 points in 20 minutes in his first start for the Clippers with a three-pointer and made three assists in the game. During his 20-point game, Wall displayed tremendous gameplay as he went behind the back and scored, created space for fellow teammates with his pinpoint passes and more. Wall marked his first start for the Clippers by leading the scoring chart for the LA side.

 Apart from John Wall, Clippers guard Paul George showed an all-round performance by scoring 14 points and making five rebounds and four assists against Timberwolves. For the visitors, forward Naz Reid registered a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds followed by center Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 19 points and made six assists and rebounds each to help their team beat the Clippers.
