
Delhi Capitals’ Karun Nair, who scored a fiery 89(40) runs in his IPL comeback in the last game against Mumbai Indians, couldn’t even get a single run in the ongoing clash against Rajasthan Royals at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Standing at non-striker’s end Karun went half-way through the pitch but was sent back by Abishek Porel midway. After that, Sandeep Sharma did no mistake in collecting the throw by Wanindu Hasaranga and cleared the stumps.
After a great knock in the last game, Karun Nair got run-out without scoring any run in three balls. Leaving disappointed with his unfortunate dismissal, Nair expressed his frustration in the dressing room and was looking dejected. His reaction went viral all over social media.

Talking about the match, batting first DC posted a total of 188 runs for the loss of five wickets. Abishek Porel was top scorer with 49 runs off 37 balls hitting five fours and a six. KL Rahul also scored 38(32) runs while skipper Axar Patel contributed with 34(14) runs. Apart from that, Tristan Stubbs gave finishing touches with 34(18) runs. For RR, Jofra Archer took two wickets, while Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga scalped a wicket each.
Chasing the winning target, RR were off to a flying start before skipper Sanju Samson got retired out after scoring 31(19) runs in the sixth over after suffering a side strain. After that, Yashasvi Jaiswal took charge of the innings and went on to completed his third fifty of the season. The left-hander got out after scoring 57 runs off 37 balls hitting three fours and four sixes. Currently, Nitish Rana is at the crease with Dhruv Jurel as the duo is heading towards the target.
