Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Andre Russell's injury struggles continued as the West Indian was carried off the pitch after dismissing Abhishek Sharma against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Russell was having a great night with the ball as he had already picked up two wickets in his first two overs.

But even in those two overs, Russell was seen struggling with injury and was seen walking off the ground as he completed his second over. He then came back out on the field but got injured after bowling just one ball in this third over.

But despite Andre Russell's heroics with the ball, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to post the highest total of the tournament - 228. The star performer for Hyderabad was Harry Brook, who smashed a 100 in 55 balls with 12 fours and three sixes.

Reacting to this performance,  Brook spoke about how he picked his spots and targeted the fast bowlers, especially in the powerplay. He also spoke about how his girlfriend was also present in the stands and was celebrating this knock.

He said, "I’ve had a bit of trouble with spin, but I wanted to use the powerplay to my advantage. So middle overs wanted to rotate strike and let the other boys do the hitting. It is a belter of a pitch, we need to bowl our lengths rightly and take wickets. We still got a job to do. My girlfriend is here but the rest of my family have just left, I’m sure they’ll all be very happy for me."
