Indian cricketers including KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj and skipper Rohit Sharma were left in tears after losing the ODI World Cup 2023 Final against Australia. The final took place on November 19, Sunday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After remaining undefeated throughout the tournament, the Men in Blue faced a disheartening six-wicket loss by Pat Cummins-led side in the mega clash of the marquee tournament.

After losing the final clash of the tournament, Indian cricketers including wicketkeeper KL Rahul, pacer Mohammed Siraj and skipper Rohit Sharma were left in tears. The Men in Blue batted first and posted a total of 240 runs against the Baggy Greens. After an average batting performance with the bat, the hosts seemingly made a comeback in the second inning.
Indian bowlers had some early successes and forced three batters to walk away within seven overs. However, the brilliant partnership by Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne changed the due course of the game in their favour. Labuschagne hit winning runs and helped his side win the match by six wickets.
With this win, the Aussies won their sixth World Cup title in the last 10 editions of the World Cup.
