Sports, more than anything else, should be played for the values that it stands for than for winning or losing. Although the statement seems a utopian idea as it is easier said than done, seems like the Indian Premier League is becoming an excuse for friendship between Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda who were involved in an ugly verbal fight while playing for Baroda in a domestic cricket competition.

It has been alleged that Baroda captain Krunal had Krunal had abused Hooda before his teammates which hadn't gone down too well. Hooda later even changed his state team but now was forced to reunite with Pandya after the two were bought by Lucknow Super Giants in IPL.

Not only were they forced but seems like Pandya is also enjoying his batting during the ongoing match between Lucknow and Gujarat Titans. While Lucknow had lost early wickets, Hooda and Ayush Badoni helped the side make a bit of recovery with Hooda particularly playing a few strokes to break the shackles.

Krunal, who was sitting in the dugout, was seen applauding one of Hooda's boundaries in a video that has surfaced on the internet.
