During a live podcast on YouTube, Kuldeep Yadav, the Indian unorthodox spinner, took a brutal dig at a Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fan, asking him to join the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise featuring Virat Kohli. The 30-year-old, who showcases his support for FC Barcelona on his social media platforms time after time, was speaking on the Talk Football HD’s podcast when the funny moment involving an RCB fan went down.

The fan, who had a unique username “RCB Management” on YouTube, addressed Kuldeep Yadav in the super chat section by saying, “Kuldeep bhai RCB me aa jao, ek goalkeeper ki jarurat hai (Kuldeep bro, please join RCB, we need one goalkeeper).” In response, Kuldeep Yadav went full savage mode by saying, “Tumhe goalkeeper ki nahi, trophy ki jarurat hai mere bhai. Goalkeeper ka kya karoge? (You don't need a goalkeeper, you need a trophy my brother. What will you do with a goalkeeper?)”

Kuldeep Yadav is named in Indian Champions Trophy squad after long injury layoff

The comment from Kuldeep Yadav left the host of the Talk Football HD’s podcast in splits, while the Indian cricketer saw the funny side of it as well. Moreover, Kuldeep Yadav, who has been sitting on the sidelines for quite some time after undergoing groin surgery, is set to make his return to the Indian cricket team during the upcoming three-match ODI series against England next month before the all-important ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

After playing a key role in helping India win the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 last summer, it will be critical for Kuldeep Yadav to hit his straps immediately in ODI cricket, to give his team the best chance to win yet another major trophy within such a short space of time.
