France football star Kylian Mbappe was seen recreating Emiliano Martinez's viral celebration from the FIFA World Cup Final in Qatar. Notably, Martinez upon receiving the glove held his award around his crotch area. The World Cup-winning Argentine goalkeeper received a lot of notoriety for his celebrations and antics during the entire tournament.

But throughout the tournament, the one Martinez moment that has gone viral was his celebration of holding his Golden Glove award around his crotch area after beating France in an entertaining final. Recently a video has been making rounds of the internet as Mbappe was replicating that celebration at the Paris Saint Germain training headquarters.

The footballing world was split on whether Emiliano Martinez's celebration was too extreme. Some fans took the keeper’s side, while some criticised the Aston Villa man for his antics. Similarly, FIFA also condemned these actions and released a statement on the incident, saying that Argentina breached its code of conduct.
“Potential breaches of articles 11 (Offensive behaviour and violations of the principles of fair play) and 12 (Misconduct of players and officials) of the FIFA Disciplinary Code, as well as of article 44 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Regulations,” the statement said.
Whereas Kylian Mbappe also reacted to the celebration and described the issues as trivial. He said, “I talked with him after the match,” Mbappe told reporters last month. I congratulated him. For him, it was a life goal. For me too, but I lost, so I have to be a good sport. Celebrations are not my problem, I don’t waste time on such trivial things.”
