Leading Chennai Super Kings to win their IPL trophy four times and with other heroics in Indian cricket, Dhoni has earned respect from not only but also members of other teams, and the recent video coming straight from the Delhi Capitals’ camp speaks for it. Ahead of CSK's fixture against the Capitals at the Chepauk Stadium, the DC players described Dhoni in one word and the video has gone viral on social media.

Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not just a player, but an emotion. An idol to billions, the name of the Indian great is a sentiment in itself, especially for those who cheer for the Yellow Army in the Indian Premier League. ‘Thala’ to some and ‘Captain Cool’ to others, the Ranchi-born cricketer is undoubtedly one of the most successful players Indian cricket has ever had.

In a video posted by Delhi Capitals ahead of their clash with the Dhoni-led CSK on Wednesday, May 10, players were seen describing MS Dhoni in one word. The heartwarming video starts with Ishant Sharma calling Dhoni his elder brother, with Axar Patel lauding the 41-year-old cricketer as ‘Mr. Cool.' Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh termed Dhoni a ‘legend’, while other players described him as a ‘Finisher’, ‘Thalaiva’, and ‘God’.

Priyam Garg said that there is no word that can describe Dhoni, he is different from others. Other than that, when asked Mukesh Kumar, he said “no words” before bowing down in respect.

Notably, Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Delhi Capitals on May 10 at the former’s home in Chennai. Dhoni’s forces are currently seated on the second spot on the points table. On the flip side, Delhi Capitals will look to keep themselves alive in the playoffs race by taking down the Chennai-based franchise in their upcoming game. With four games remaining, Delhi needs to win all the matches if they wish to be in the race.
