At the Canadian GP press-conference, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, two of the biggest stars in F1 shared a hilarious moment after the race had finished. The British driver remarked on the Dutch accent of the reigning Formula One world champion, which led to both motorsports athletes having a great laugh together on stage.

This moment happened when Max Verstappen was answering one of the questions from the reporters at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. The 25-year-old was talking about Father’s Day, while stating his intention of not gifting his dad any present for the auspicious day after winning the Canadian GP hours earlier.

The Dutch-Belgian racing driver was quoted as saying, “Today was of course also Father’s Day, so I don’t need to buy him (dad) a present, I did it (won the Canadian GP), so I think he is happy.”

It led to Lewis Hamilton finding a similarity between the Dutch accent of the Red Bull driver and the “Goldmember,” a character from Austin Powers in Goldmember movie from 2002. The Mercedes driver instantly shared his observation to Max Verstappen, which they both enjoyed in a hysterical manner.

Notably, in the Canadian GP, the multi-time world champion driver strolled to his 41st race win, equaling the record of the late F1 great Ayrton Senna, while giving his team Red Bull their 100 grand prix victory in the process too. On the other side, Lewis Hamilton had a superb race of his own, finishing in third place, behind the Spaniard Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin.
