At a big turning point in the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings, PBKS all-rounder Liam Livingstone pulled off an absolute stunner to dismiss KKR captain Nitish Rana. Chasing 180, Kolkata got off to a decent start with  Jason Roy continuing his great form. Supporting the English opener,  Nitish Rana also played a captain's knock which saw some sublime big hitting.

As Roy departed at a score of 38, but Nitish Rana continued scoring runs from one end. As Rana completed his 50 in the 16th over, he attempted a switch hit but miscued his shot. As the ball flew towards long-off,  Liam Livingstone came in sliding and completed an incredible catch to give Punjab a massive advantage.

But this catch wasn't enough for the Punjab Kings as lost the match in the last courtesy of Rinku Singh and Andre Russell, who chased down 58 in the last 30 balls. Reacting to this loss, Punjab captain, Shikhar Dhawan expressed,  "Feels bad, of course not feeling great, we lost the match. Not an easy track to bat on, felt that we had a good total."

"In the end, they played well. It was a great effort from Arshdeep, the way he has bounced back from the last game. All credit to him that he took the game to the last ball. I feel we don’t have a good off-spinner, that is where we are leaking a bit of runs when left-handers come in. This wicket was offering turn as well, that is where we took the hit," he further continued.
