Liverpool manager Arne Slot paid a musical tribute to legendary Jurgen Klopp after the 2024-25 Premier League title win. The Reds defeated Tottenham by 5-1 at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on April 27 to clinch the 20th league title win. This was also Slot’s first season as Liverpool manager and he ended it with a title.

Notably, former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp stepped down the from the role last year after spending nine years with the club and leaving behind a rich legacy. In his replacement Arne Slot joined Liverpool as manager in April 2024. Now, after Liverpool’s Premier League win, Slot paid tribute to Klopp by chanting his name and the crowd also joined him.

"It feels great but I don't think I want to say a lot. The only thing I can do now is sing my appreciation to Jurgen. So, there we go, 'Jurgen Klopp La la la, Jurgen Klopp La la la, Jurgen Klopp La la la." Arne Slot could be seen saying in the video.

Arne Slot also expressed his feeling after Liverpool’s Premier League win and hailed the side for a dominant performance throughout the season. Slot said that the players always find a way to win despite the situation and also thanked the fans for their support throughout.

"For the whole season we were on top of the league but you also know how hard the Premier League is. The belief for us to win it was here throughout the season. It's difficult to put into words. You can feel how important it was for the fans to be here. We always come back, we always find a way to win. I don't think we could have lost today,” Arne Slot told Sky Sports.
