Dallas Mavericks registered their 10th win in the NBA 2022-23 regular season on Tuesday night after defeating defending champions Golden State Warriors 116-113 at the American Airlines Center. However, one of the top players for Mavericks this season, Spencer Dinwiddie got ejected in the fourth quarter for elbowing Warriors guard Jordan Poole in the face.

Dallas point guard Luka Doncic registered his 51st triple double with 41 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds to help the Mavs beat the Warriors by three points. Before exiting the game, Spencer Dinwiddie scored 14 points and made two assists and steals each in his 23 minutes of appearance.

Early in the fourth quarter with Dallas leading 94-91, Dinwiddie attempted to break the Dubs' defense but caught Jordan Poole in the face with his elbow. The Warriors guard went straight on the ground holding his face while the Mavs guard was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul after it was reviewed.

However, many fans believe that the elbow was unintentional and it's definitely a flagrant foul but assessing Dinwiddie with flagrant 2 is excessive. After the ejection call, Dinwiddie dapped up Poole and walked to the locker room.

However, Dinwiddie's ejection didn't cost much to the Mavs as they went on to win the game against the Warriors as Luka Doncic became the 10th player in the NBA history to have 20+ career games of 40+ points before turning 24 . Meanwhile, Dallas surpassed Golden State in the Western Conference standings as Luka Doncic's side climbed to the ninth spot with their 10th victory in 20 games so far.

On the other hand, the Dubs faced their 10th road game loss of the season and are placed at the 10th spot in the Western Conference standings with 11 wins in 22 games. The Mavericks will next travel to Detroit Pistons on Thursday night while the Warriors are scheduled to host Chicago Bulls on Friday night at the Chase Center.
