Luka sucks chant gets me going: Doncic comments on Thunder fans
In the post-game press conference after Dallas Mavericks took a 3-2 lead in the NBA Western Conference playoffs semifinals series, when Luka Doncic was asked about his thoughts on the Oklahoma City Thunder fans, he spoke about how the “Luka Sucks” chant from them gets him going. Notably, Luka Doncic scored his third 30-point triple-double in the playoffs, tying him with LeBron James for second-most such games by a player at the age of 25 or less.
The reporter remarked, “The Oklahoma City Thunder fan base has taken a little bit of a liking to you so to speak as a competitor, do you thrive on just being able to silence the crowd the way you did?” In response, Luka Doncic said, “I love it. And when they chant, ‘Luka sucks,’ it gets me going.”
