On the latest edition of his podcast “Curious Mike,” Michael Porter Jr, the Denver Nuggets forward, had an unexpected guest, who was none other than the ex-adult star Lana Rhoades. During their empowering chat, Porter and Rhoades discussed the dark side of the adult industry and its ill effects on the health of the performers, among other things.
At the very start, Michael Porter Jr addressed how the fans would be surprised about seeing him having a podcast with Lana Rhoades. The 25-year-old spoke about how he came across the podcast of the ex-adult star about the dark side of the industry, and it led to him getting inspired by her story. MJP asked Lana Rhoades about her childhood right off the bat, to which she said, “There are a lot of things that I have come to terms with recently that I didn’t even realize were wrong in my childhood. And I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.”
When the Denver Nuggets star learned about the sheer difference in the average life expectancy of someone in the adult industry in comparison to others, he was quite shocked about it. He remarked, “The average life expectancy of someone in the sex industry, for a woman, is about 37 and the average life expectancy outside of the industry is about 78, I think. And I was like, ‘How is that possible?’”
Moreover, in the ongoing NBA season, MJP has been at the forefront of the championship defense of the Denver Nuggets. With a 53-23 record, they are currently sitting pretty in second place in the Western Conference standings, slated to play against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena on April 4.
