Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc pulled off incredible to dismiss New Zealand opener Devon Conway in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Batting first, the five-time World Champions had a dominant display and posted a total of 388 runs. The returning Travis Head smashed a quick-fire century alongside David Warner's 81 and another cameo by Glenn Maxwell.

Then in the second innings, the Kiwis had a strong start with Conway and Will Young posting 60 runs after seven overs. Facing Josh Hazlewood, Devon Conway attempted to hit a lofted shot over fine leg. But as he miscued his attempt, the ball zoomed towards the edge of the circle, where Starc threw in a full-stretch dive and completed a stellar catch.

Talking about his century, Travis Head said, " Back playing (pleased me the most), nice to be back with the boys. nice to contribute, nice to be back. It (hand) is going well, went well today, we are on track which is nice. Very good wicket, Davey and I forged that partnership, we tried to put as much pressure as we can, we were able to get away today, take our chances and then also go on and make a really big partnership to set that platform. 388 is a really good score. I felt, at the back end of my innings, it started to take a little bit more spin. They bowled really well, changed their pace. The boys will come with their plans, hopefully we can execute them really well."
