Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are battling it out at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Both teams are searching for their first win of the season. While CSK have remained winless in three straight games, SRH lost their first two matches. Now, either of them will have a win before their name on the points table.

The game started well for Sunrisers as they dismissed both CSK openers inside the first six overs after opting to bowl first. However, a partnership between Ambati Rayudu and Moeen Ali brought Chennai back in the game. While Rayudu departed after scoring 27, Moeen Ali was looking all set to register a half-century.

But his innings was cut short by Aiden Markram who got Ali caught at long-on. Nonetheless, the batter had done his job with a brilliant 35-ball 48 with the help of three fours and two sixes. In his innings, while Ali was taking on SRH bowlers he hit a massive six which almost hit the scorers of the game. Prior to his dismissal, Ali dispatched a short ball from Markram into the stands. The ball went 86-metres beyond.

CSK lose four in four!

Despite the efforts of Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, and Ravindra Jadeja, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) could not register their first win of the season They lost the match as SRH chased down the total quite comfortably. 154 was never enough on a pitch where batting was supposed to get easy in the second innings. Also, Chennai lacked the arsenal in their bowling. They could only dismiss two of the Sunrisers' batters.

CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja reckoned that they were 20-25 runs short and also promised to improve both departments for the next game. "Didn't get the start what we were looking for. 20-25 short. Our bowlers were looking to bowl in good areas early on, trying to take wickets. Will look to improve in both departments," said the CSK captain.
