On Sunday, February 23, during the high-octane match between India and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, drama unfolded after Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Harshit Rana suffered a shoulder collision. The incident unfolded in the 20th over of the Pakistan innings.

After bowling the final delivery of the over, which he clocked 131.9 kph, Rizwan tried to pull away to deep square leg. Soon afterwards, Rizwan went for a single during which he had a shoulder-to-shoulder collision with Harshit Rana as the latter watched the ball. This quick collision left the Indian pacer seemingly unhappy, which of which is making waves on social media.

Speaking of the match, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first at DICS. With Babar Azam once again coming out to bat with Imam-ul-Haq, who replaced injured Fakhar Zaman, gave a decent start before the two were dismissed in quick succession. There after Axar Patel once again helped India return into the game, inflicting the stumps to dismiss Mohammad Rizwan at 46 off 77 deliveries.

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja then gave India another sigh of relief as he dismissed Tayyab Tahir. At the time of writing, Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah were in the middle as they eye to put a competitive total on the board.
