Leading up to an important clash against Lucknow Super Giants on April 22 (Saturday), the Gujarat Titans players and staff celebrated the festival of Eid. Two Afghanistan players, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmed, along with the other members from the Titans side celebrated the festivities.

In the video posted by Gujarat Titans, Mohammad Shami, and Rashid Khan can be seen congratulating each other along with the other members of the team and staff also greeting each other. The post shared by GT was captioned, “May this Eid bring you reasons to smile, celebrate, and feast!”

The Gujarat-based franchise also posted photos of the celebration in which Noor Ahmed, Rashid Khan, and Mohsin Khan wished each other in the usual manner with a hug. This post read, "Eid Mubarak, Bhaijaan! Our Titans begin the auspicious day with Eid greetings to gear up for #LSGvGT match!"

The defending champions Gujarat Titans started the season well with three wins from their five matches so far. Although they lost to RR in their last match, the Titans have been impressive so far. In the batting lineup, Shubman Gill has been consistent and has got the support from other players when needed. Vijay Shankar and Sai Sudarshan have also chipped in with important contributions. In the bowling department, Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan have been the stand-out bowlers as both are in the purple cap race with 10 and 11 wickets respectively.
