The 16th edition of the IPL kicks off as Gujarat Titans take on Chennai Super Kings at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Before the start of the match, fans were presented with a glittering opening ceremony where CSK captain MS Dhoni was unveiled with a bang.
The four-time champion was brought to the main stage on a chariot with incredible pyros and was greeted with a massive roar from fans. As Dhoni reached the stage, Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya too joined him with the IPL trophy.

Reacting to MS Dhoni's entry, fans went crazy on social media. Several CSK supporters posted about their love for 'Captain Cool' and further tried to articulate their emotions witnessing Dhoni return after 315 days.
